Drive a short distance to the lush green, terraced tea fields for bright, high-contrast photos. Right next door, take a cool, shaded walk through the towering pines at the beautifully maintained memorial.

02Morning Dip, Spiritual Trails & The Late-Night Crawl
Bhagsu Nag Temple & Swimming Pool
Head straight to the public spring-fed pool first thing. The mountain spring water is at its absolute freshest, the area is completely clean, and you beat the chaotic daytime tourist rush for an incredibly refreshing morning bath.
Dalai Lama Temple (Tsuglagkhang Complex)
Walk over to the spiritual heart of McLeod Ganj right after your dip. The morning energy here is deeply authentic—you can watch monks debating in the courtyard and walk the peaceful Kora path with locals spinning the prayer wheels.
St. John in the Wilderness Church
Visit this 19th-century Neo-Gothic stone church hidden deep under a heavy canopy of deodar forest. The sun filtering through the dense trees creates a beautifully moody, atmospheric setting.
Authentic Tibetan Lunch
Briefly stop in the main market square for a heavy lunch of authentic thukpa, tingmo, and momos to fuel up for the trek ahead.
Forest Pine Trail Walk to Dharamkot
Skip the vehicles and lead the group on a scenic forest trek from McLeod Ganj up through the pine-forested lanes to Dharamkot. It keeps the energy flowing, giving everyone time to take photos and bond under the canopy.
Rooftops & Late-Night Live Music Crawl
Sunset Dinner: Grab a table at a lively rooftop spot like Carpe Diem or Mcllo for wood-fired pizzas, open-air twilight views, and group ice-breakers. Late Night: Move to a spot featuring acoustic sessions or live mountain music (like The Other Space or an indie music hub on Jogiwara Road). Keep the group engaged with great music, dynamic conversations, and food late into the evening.
Day
03Secret Pools & The Great Ascent to the Ridge

Triund Trek Ascent
Hit the main trail straight from the Gallu checkpoint. A steady hike through the oak forests ensures you break past the tree line right as the harsh midday sun begins to soften.
Reaching the Ridge & Golden Hour
You emerge onto the massive high-altitude ridge directly face-to-face with a towering wall of rock and ice just in time to watch the ridge-line sunset.
Alpine Stargazing & Camping
Set up your tents and spend the night around a mountain campfire. The remote location offers clear, dark skies for an unforgettable night of stargazing.

Wake up early to witness the first morning light hit the towering wall of rock and ice right in front of your tents.
Steady Descent to Base
After a simple mountain breakfast, hike down the mountain during the cool morning hours before the trail gets too hot.
